Santiago Ochoa is a multimedia journalist based out of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. 

A Colombian immigrant who grew up in rural Michigan, he's focused much of his career on covering Latino and other underserved communities, their needs and their culture. 

His work has appeared in The Seattle Times, The Yakima-Herald Republic, Flint Beat, WFDD and U.S. News and World Report.
